We are seeking a Structural Engineer to bring their expertise and passion for providing clients with solutions that work to our Parramatta-based team. Undertake structural analysis and design for a variety of commercial, residential and infrastructure projects
Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations and technical documentation
Carry out site inspections and prepare reports including inspection certificates, causation reports for structural defects and dilapidation reports
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers and construction teams, to ensure successful project delivery
Provide technical advice and support to clients throughout the project lifecycle
Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, standards and best practices
Support the team of Principal and Senior Structural Engineers working under their guidance and instruction
Tertiary qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering
Minimum 3 years' local experience as a Structural Engineer, preferably in a consultancy environment
Demonstrated expertise in structural analysis, design and project delivery
Proficient in the use of engineering software such as Spacegass, RAPT, Tekla, Bluebeam or equivalent
Strong problem-solving, communication and project management skills
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

We are seeking a Structural Drafter to bring their expertise and passion for providing clients with solutions that work to our Parramatta-based team. Produce detailed structural drawings and documentation for a variety of projects
Contribute to the design and development of structural engineering solutions
Liaise with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
Ensure all drawings and documentation adhere to industry standards and client specifications
Participate in project meetings and provide technical input as required
Support the wider engineering team with drafting tasks and other duties as needed
Certificate IV or Diploma in Drafting
5+ years' experience as a Structural Drafter or in a similar role
Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and design

This is a key role where you’ll ensure the smooth operation of our office, providing excellent customer service to our clients and support to our engineers and the directors.
Answering phone calls, scheduling and booking inspections
Updating the Work in Progress spreadsheet, including adding new jobs, recording important notes on jobs and updating job status
Monitoring the main office email account, and liaising with clients and engineers to process enquiries
Data entry
Setting up new project folders and maintaining an efficient digital filing system
Sending quotations to Clients
Stationery and office supply orders
Booking training and development events
Taking payments over the phone
General admin and reception duties
Minimum 3 years’ experience in office administration
Strong English skills, both written and verbal
Experience in handling frequent phone calls is a professional phone manner
Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy in communications
Proficient in Microsoft programs, especially Word, Excel, Outlook etc

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join the growing team at Inhouse Consulting Engineers' as a Senior Structural Engineer. Due to rapid growth of the business, this full-time role will see you playing a key strategic role in delivering a diverse range of civil and structural engineering projects across the Hunter and Central Coast Region of NSW. The role offers exceptional flexibility for the ideal candidate who will enjoy working from home and undertaking site inspections within the region with occasional visits to our head office for team building, training and development activities.
Providing expert structural engineering design, analysis and project delivery for a variety of projects including commercial, residential and industrial developments
Inspecting structures and preparing detailed forensic reports, conditions reports, load checks and inspection certificates.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions
Mentoring and supporting junior engineers to develop their technical and project management skills
Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality
Contributing to business development activities such as tender responses, fee proposals and client presentation
Tertiary qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering
Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status
Minimum 8 years' local experience, ideally in a consulting environment
Demonstrated expertise in structural design, analysis and project delivery across a range of sectors
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively
Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills
Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
